The NHFF annually recognizes the best films in several categories by presenting its Granny Awards on NH Night and at our Closing Ceremonies. Each award-winning filmmaker also receives Portsmouth-manufactured Bailey Works messenger bags. Cash, equipment rental packages, in-kind donations, and industry connections are also presented to some award recipients. If you’ve read through our independent film submissions page and still have questions,  e-mail NHFF Programming Director Deb Barry.

Screenplay Competition

The deadlines for the NHFF Screenplay Competition are also Aug. 5, extended deadline Aug. 15. She is also a member of the NH Film Commission Board of Directors.
