We accept Digital Files or HDCAM for exhibition
NOTE: No DVDs will be screened.
If you would like to submit your film as a digital file please create the video as a h.264 MP4 or MOV to the specifications below (no ProRes). Films in other formats may not be played so please verify your setting before sending your films. We can accept digital files up to 10 GB, any file larger than 10 GB should be mailed on a USB external hard drive or flash drive to the address below.
Video – H.264 MP4 or MOV
Audio – AAC
Resolution – 720p
Framerate – 23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, or 30 fps
Please submit your films without test signals (i.e. color bars, counting leader, or tone) or other additional leader. We will do our best to calibrate digital playback and projection.
Please email ryan@nhfilmfestival.com to receive an account login to our Sharefile account. Do not upload to the Vital Design Dropbox, that is only for photo stills. Any file larger than 10 GB should be mailed to the address designated below.

Filmmaker shall arrange shipment of exhibition film (HDCam, USB Hard Drive/Flash Drive) to Festival, to arrive no later than Friday, September 28th, 2012, unless other arrangements have been made with the festival. Festival agrees to ship print to point designated by Filmmaker, no later than fourteen days following completion of the Festival. Any variation from this schedule requires New Hampshire Film Festival written approval in advance.
The print supplier will be responsible for the cost of shipment to the Festival. The Festival will provide one-way domestic shipping to the address you specify to return the film. If the film’s return address changes, please contact us immediately to assure the safe return of your print. If the film needs to be sent internationally please provide us an international shipping account number, or pre-paid shipping label.

We have a small screening room at Headquarters which will be the “Trailer Room” and will be running all received trailers in a loop during the festival weekend.
