Though film and screenplay submissions for the 2008 New Hampshire Film Festival are closed, the 2009 official Call for Entries will be coming soon.
The New Hampshire Film Festival has captured the excitement and energy that is the true spirit
of the independent film movement. These days, industry heavy hitters such as Avid and Regal
Cinemas lend their sponsorship, while individual experts participate on panels and in workshops.
Last year’s event featured representatives from Emerging Pictures, Film Threat, the Philadelphia
Film Festival and TLA Releasing, among others.
The Festival’s main stage theater, The Music Hall, is the region’s premier performing arts center,
equipped with state-of-the-art technology for all screenings. In addition to The Music Hall,
NHFF uses three other venues all within walking distance, including the Muddy River
Smokehouse, where attendees and audience members can eat and drink while catching a short
film.
The New Hampshire Film Festival is partnered with Without A Box to handle all online submissions. Without A Box provides costsaving,
online entry to major film festivals with one master entry form, allowing filmmakers and
screenwriters to enter more quickly and with greater accuracy. This method is free and easy.
