Young Filmmakers Workshop (YFW):
The YFW is an exciting weekend-long filmmaking workshop. While gaining
knowledge of Scripting, Storyboarding, Production Planning, Cinematography,
Audio, Directing, and Editing, program participants will produce their
own short films on location at Portsmouth’s Strawberry Banke. Click

- Film Financing Panel - Investments vs. Donations & Grants
Presented by The New Hampshire Film and Television Office. Learn from
professional filmmakers and producers about the various ways in which
to find the appropriate funding for your next project.
- Cutting Edge Trends in Marketing and Distribution
This panel discussion will focus on the business side of filmmaking-
selling your work and getting it seen!
Professional Workshops:
- Creative Writing Warm-Up
Presented by Bill Bourdon, Fox C Flix Films. This workshop will focus
on a series of 4-5 screenwriting games to help get the participants
thinking creatively and unconventionally!
- The Art of Re-Writing
Presented by Dana Bicotti Myskowski. This workshop will focus on the
revision stage in the screenwriting process.
- The Art of Storytelling
Presented by the Visionaries Institute International: Bruce Lundeen,
Director of Photography. Telling a compelling story is an art. It takes
more than just a camera and a good subject. Explore what makes a story
interesting to watch and learn from.
- Musical Scoring and Licensing Pre-Recorded Sound for Film
Presented by: Berklee College of Music, Ricardo Poza. The presentation
will include not only how music can enhance a film, but also how a director
should talk to a composer, the structure of a film score, different
approaches, and so on.
